After trial taken of him by the said lords examiners, they understanding him to be qualified, have admitted him and he takes the oath that he will really and truly administer the office according to the acts of parliament. [[Walter Ross, 6th of Balmachy|Walter Ros of Ballamukie]] stands cautioner and he jointly with David Ross gives indemnity to refund anyone whose appeal to the Lords is successful.
