This property plays a role in this wiki's database-like background structure. Clicking on the eye next to:
- a page in the left-hand column will take you to a list of properties assigned to that page.
- an item in the right-hand column will take you to a list of pages that have been assigned that value.

RDF logic:
- Subject: Pagenames of Persons
- Predicate: Has nickname
- Object: Any (type Text)
Note: This field is not meant for variations of a first name. For instance, if someone named Mary also went by Polly, both should be entered in Property:Foaf:name. In a template, if the 'other names' field exists, Mary would be entered as 'name', Polly would be entered as 'other name'. If not, both are entered as 'name'. Nickname refers instead to a nickname that helps to differentiate between two people of the same name. For instance, we know William I King of England as William the Conqueror. "the Conqueror" would be entered in Property:Has nickname.
