Description Alan son of Walter, steward of the king of Scotland, has given and granted and made firm by this his charter to Adam son of Gilbert, Tarbolton, Privick, Drumley, and ‘Milnefinlen’ (all in Tarbolton parish), by their right bounds, in feu and heritage; to hold of him and his heirs, by stated bounds. Moreover, he has given and granted to him ‘Roderbren’ and ‘Brenego’ and Enterkine (AYR), by those bounds which he and his men perambulated. Alan wills that Adam should hold these lands for the service of one knight.
