- “Anno predicto,” i.e., a.d. 1534 and a.r. 22. This is one of the four entries which have been thrown into the wrong year by the insertion of No. 1594, supra, at the foot of a page. There were apparently two chaplanries of St. Malruby in Applecross. Donaldson had been presented to one of them on the 28th of May 1539 (No. 3036 supra), and to the other on the 20th of March 1539-40 (No. 3459 supra). It was to one of these that Cameron was now presented . Cf. No. 3466 supra.
