Description	Charter by William Earl of Ross, son and heir of Hugh late Earl of Ross, granting and confirming to Hugh de Munroo, son and heir of Robert de Munroo, and his heirs, for faithfull services rendered, the half davach of land of Dachynmore, the davach of land of Innerlawyr in Lochbrene, the land of Kylmocholmok, and Carpstole in Strathcaroun and Strathokele, under reservation to said earl and his heirs of the freshwater with fishings belonging to said lands; to be held by said Hugh and his heirs of said earl and his heirs in fee and heritage, in woods and plains, etc, malt-kilns, mills and multures, meadows, grazings, hunting and hawking, and smithies, and all and sundry liberties, etc, and specially with liege-men and neyfs ('nativis') and inhabitants ('incolis') of said lands, as freely as any other land within the Kingdom of Scotland granted by any other earl or baron for good deeds; said Hugh and his heirs doing therefor forensic service to the King, and rendering to said earl and his heirs yearly at Whitsunday at the said earl's castle of Dyngvale a pair of white gloves, if asked, in name of blench-farm, for suits of court, ward and relief, and marriage, and for all other service, burden, exaction, etc, required from said lands; with clause of warrandice. Witnesses, Alexander, bishop of Ross, Donald, abbot New Ferine, granter's nephew ('nepote nostro'), William de Ross, granter's cousin, John del Hay, granter's cousin, Adam de Vrchand, Thomas de Dyngvale, John de Tarrel, granter's chamberlain and William de Clyne.
