Robertus Dei gracia rex , etc., omnibus, etc. Sciatis nos approbasse, etc., donacionem illam et concessionem quas quondam Willelmus comes de Rosse frater noster fecit et concessit quondam Hugoni de Rosse fratri suo , de terris de Balnegoune , Achehavil et Corty, necnon de annuo redditu quatuor librarum de Tarbart cum pertinenciis, in comitatu de Rosse infra vicecomitatum de Invirnys· Tenendis et habendis Willelmo de Rosse filio et heredi dicti quondam Hugonis et heredibus suis in feodo et hereditate , per omnes rectas metas et divisas suas , adeo libere et quiete in omnibus et per omnia sicut carta dicti quondam comitis dicto quondam Hugoni exinde confecta in se juste continet et proportat· Salvis nobis warda et relevio dictarum terrarum et redditus quociens nobis debebitur warda sive relevium de comitatu predicto· necnon salvis nobis aliis serviciis nostris. Translation

Confirmation of William de Rosse. Robert, by the grace of God, king, etc., to all, etc. Be it known to us that he has approved, etc., that donation and grant which our brother William Earl of Rosse once made and granted to Hugh de Rosse his brother, of the lands of Balnegoune, Achehavil, and Corty, as well as of the yearly rent of four pounds from Tarbart with the appurtenances, in the county of Rosse under the sherrifdom of Invirnys. To hold and hold William de Rosse, son and heir of the said former Hugh and his heirs in fee and inheritance, by all their rightful aims and divisions, as freely and quietly in all and by all as the charter of the said former earl The aforesaid Hugh, from thenceforth completed, justly contains and propounds in himself the ward and relief of the said lands, and the rent whenever the ward or relief of the aforesaid county shall be due to us, as well as our other services.
