Title Charter by Alexander de Yle, Earl of Ross, and Lord of the Isles, to Malcolm Mackintosh [McIntosh], of the office of bailie or steward of the lordship of Lochaber, with remainder to his heirs-male for ever.

[Although listed here this document is not in the National Archives of Scotland having been either destroyed or badly damaged in a flood at Moy Hall]

Description Dated at the Castle of Dingwall, 13th November 1447.

The original is in Latin. It was registered on 23d August 1781. A translation is given in Antiquarian Notes, second series, by Dr. Fraser Mackintosh, p. 160.
