Title Charter by John de Yle, Earl of Ross and Lord of the Isles.
Description Whereby he grants and confirms to his beloved cousin, Duncan McIntosche [McIntosh], Captain of Clanchattan [Clan Chattan], the lands of Keppach [Keppoch], Innerroygart [Inverroygart], Achnacrose, the two Bointynnis [Bohuntines], Bohene [Bohenie], Murvalgane [Murlaggan], Tullach [Tulloch], Dailadenenderg [Dalindundearg], Achderre [Achaderry], Innerroyg Muor [Inverroy Mor], Mischeralych [Musherlich], Achinnellane, Weyndale, Cloynis [Clunes], Glastor more, Micomer [Muccomer], Leachtnerynoch [Lechterynich], Cloyerkattych [Cloyer Kattych], Strounabay [Stronabay], Tornessa, Blarrowir [Blairour], the two Ratullychis [Ratullichs], Achinesk, Innerghie and Achrone, with the pertinents, lying in the granter's lordship of Lochabbria [Lochaber] and his sheriffdom of Innernys [Inverness], together with the office of bailiary of the said lands, and also the office of bailie of the following lands, belonging heretably to the granter, viz. Achdrome, Glengarre [Glen Garry], Letterfinlay, and the lands of the two towns of Lanachannis [Leanachan], with their pertinents; for homage and faithful service done and to be done to the granter and his heirs; to be held by the said Duncan McIntosche and his heirs of the granter, and his heirs and successors in fee and heritage, with customary rights, paying for the lands of Innerroygart with the aforesaid service two merks Scots yearly. There is a clause of warrandice. Dated at Urchard [Urquhart], the 14th of November 1466.
