The burgesses have granted to Sir Godfrey to have and hold the land in the aforesaid tenement, ploughed and unploughged, paying 2 ½ marks, half at Martinmas and half at Pentecost, saving the wood of Langhurst. Both parties have bound themselves to observe this before the abbot of Kilwinning.
