Translation
The king confirmed the charter of Johannes de Ile, count of Rossie, and lord of the Isles, - [by which, by the assent and consent and early deliberation of his whole council, - he granted to his brother, Celestine of the Isles, the lands of Lochbryne, Locbalsclie, Lochcarryn, Torvivtayne, and Kischernis, in the county of Rossie, vic. Invernes : — Tenend. to the said Celestine and his heirs between him and Finvola (daughter) of Lachlan M'Gilleon de Dowart lawfully begotten of his body, failing which, to the lawful heirs of the said Celestine between himself and any other lawful wife begotten, to whom def., to the said Joh. the Count of Rossie and his heirs shall return freely: — To be paid. 6 pennies in the name of a white firm on the ground floor. de Lochalsche : — -At the Castle of Dingwele, 2 Feb., 1462] : — Necnona liam charter of the said Joh. de Ile, &c.,—[which, with consent, &c., he granted to his carnal brother CELESTINO DE ISULIS—the lands of Fernacoscrech, viz.
