Witnesses: Sir Thomas Gram, abbot of monastery of Cupar, John Blane, Thomas Monypeny, esquires, sir Robert Laurence and John Nicholas, rectors of churches of Strathnechty Martyn and Dunotyr, John Murray and John Bell, burgesses of Dundee.

Great seal charter granting Donald of Caldore, the thanage of Caldore. 14 September 1430. Witnesses: John, bishop of Glasgow, chancellor, Sir John Forestar, chamberlain, Sir Walter Ogilvy, treasurer, kts., Mr William Foulis, keeper of privy seal, provost of Bothuile. 'RMS' 'ii'/176.

Precept by William, thane of Caldore, ordaining Hugh Ostillare, formerly provost of Inverness, and John Flemyng, to resign in hands of John of the Isles, earl of Ross and the Isles, the lands of Balmakyth in sheriffdom of Narne. 16 May 1458.
