Title Notarial Instrument narrating that Gilbert McBean, priest of the diocese of Moray, compeared before Sir John de Yle, Earl of Ross, to the same effect as in the immediately preceding writ, and with the same result, that the Earl refused the desire.
Description This was done in the Chapel of St. Finla, in the island of Cana [?Canna], on the 14th of June 1456.

Witnesses: Alexander Flemyng [Fleming], esquire, Duncan McOhanak [McO'Shannig], James Wylie, clerk to the said Earl, and Sir Duncan Obrolchan [O'Brolachain], notary public.
