Description Transumpt, dated according to the computation of he Scottish church, under the hand of Richard de Holande, clerk, of the diocese of Caithness, notary public by imperial authority, of Bond of Manrent as follows: 'Be it made kende till all men be thir present letteris me Thomas Frasar lord of the Lovet to haf becummyn and becummys lele man and trew to a rycht he and mychty lorde my lorde Sir Alexander of Ila Erle of Ross ande lorde of the Ilis ande Justice of the north half of the Watter of Forth ande that I sall mak to my saide lorde lele ande trew service at all my gudely powar quhat tyme I be chargit tharto, Ande assiste to him in contrar of all man ande men that lyffis or lyff may or de may myne allegeance to my soverine lorde the kinge owtane, ande my fewte to the rychtwise Erle of Murray that beis for the tyme. Done in the town of Innerness in the dwelling-house of Andrew Rede, alderman of said town, before these witnesses, John de Ross, laird of Ballenagown, George de Monro, laird of Fowlis, Alexander Makcowlach of Pladdis, Neil Mcloyde and Niel Flemyng. The bond was presented for transumpt by said Alexander, Earl of Ross.
