Description	Retour of Inquest held in the tolbooth of Innernes before John Cuthbart, sheriff-depute of Innernes, by John Mckenze of Kyntaill, Thomas Mcculloch of Pladdis, Allexander Doles of Cantra, Thomas Dingwall of Kildoune, George Munro of Dawachcarty, Kenneth Mckenze, son and apparent heir of said John Mckenze, John Innes of Innachbreky, Mr George Gordoune, captain of Rowan, Duncane Bane of Terodoll, John Polsoune of Crethmoir, Thomas Ross of Ballatrait, Hugh Mcculloch, in Terrelmekil, Allexander Mckenze of Forbryne, John Dunbar of Bennengfeld, Dowgall Blane, in Coniche, William Paterson, Andrew Achlek, burgesses of Innernes, Allexander Spine and Allexander Gibsoune, inhabitants of Tane, who sworn say that deceased Hector Munro of Fowlis, father of Robert Munro, died last vest and seased in the lands of Ester Fowlis, Wester Fowlis, Cattoll, Logy, Contolich, Dachane, Corbistill, Kilmilcalmok and Innerlawill, lying in the earldom of Ross and sheriffdom of Innernes, and in the lands of Fyndoune, lying in the lordship of Ardmanach, as also in the lands of Ferrynenkosky in Braquhat, namely, the half of Innerane, with fishing and mill thereof, half of Lynset croy, half of Lynset moir, half of Altesbeg and Altesmoir, half of Achinnes, with fishings thereof, and also in the lands of Crethmoir, with the fishings fresh and salt of the water of Kelisokkel, lying in the sheriffdom of Innernes; and that said Robert Munro is lawful and nearest heir of said deceased Hector, his father, therein, and that he is of lawful age; that said lands are valued in time of peace at £80 Scots and now at £148 13s 8d Scots; that said lands of Wester Fowlis, Fyndoune and others, are held of the King in chief, and said lands of Ester Fowlis, Cattoll and others, are held of the King as Earl of Ross, by service of ward and relief; 3 suits at the 3 head pleas of the sheriffdom of Innernes to be rendered yearly; and that said lands have been in non-entry and relief by the death of said Hector, father of said Robert Munro, who died in Mar last
