said Alain nevue came to Viscount. Johan Flemyng, heir to the earl of Wygeton, Johan, fitz lord Andreu of Valencia,
delivered to Sir William of Wessyngton.

Item, William, son & heir of the count of Rosse is ill, & King David & the bishops of Seint Andreu & Brechyn, & the count of the March are obliged that he will livere if he is alive in the gardein of Berwik before Kwismas , &, if it is most, that the person close to the said county will sell in his place.
Item, Patrik, son and heir to Mr. William of Levyngston, is bailed to Richard Snell Burgeis of Berwik, & King David has taken among my promises from his mouth & a letter placed in his signet which he will keep well & will not be lost . Item, Sir Thomas Byset, has learned that William his fitz will be held at the Touz Seintz later in the company of the lord of Manny to remain as a hostage.
