Robertus, etc., omnibus probis hominibus tocius terre sue salutem. Sciatis nos approbasse raificasse et hac presenti carta nostra confirmas[se] donacionem illam et concessionem quas dilecta consanguinea nostra Eufamia domina de Rosse fecit et concessit Alexandro Senescalli comiti Buchanie filio nostro dilecto, de comitatu Rossie cum pertinenciis. Tenendo et habendo sibi pro toto tempore vite sue, in omnibus et per omnia sicut carta dicte consanguinee nostre sibi ex inde facta in se juste continet et proportat. Salvo servicio nostro. In cujus rei, etc. Testibus ut supra. Apud Invernys, vicesimo quinto die Julii anno regni nostri duodecimo.

Translation
Robert, etc., to all honest men speedily the safety of their country. Let us know that he has approved the rafication, and by this present charter of ours you confirm [that] that donation and concession which our beloved kinswoman, Lady Euphamia de Rosse, made and granted to our beloved son Alexander Senescall, count of Buchanie, of the county of Rossie with its appurtenances. By holding and having for himself for the whole time of his life, in all and through all things, as the said charter of our kinship, he justly contains and propounds in himself the things done to him from thence. Save our service. In whose case, etc. Witnesses as above. At Inverness, on the twenty-fifth day of July, in the twelfth year of our reign.
