Discussion

The register of the privy seal is more of a record of the daily administration of the kingdom in the period before the Register of the Privy Council existed, and includes large amounts of information regarding the legal and political administration of the kingdom.[1]

Published in 8 volumes, covering 1488 - 1584.[1][2]

1488-1529  vol. 1

1548-1556  vol. 4
1556-1567 vol. 5 part I
1556-1567 vol. 5 part II
