Transcription

2745. 23rd June 1675.] Instrument of Sasine following on a precept (directed to Walter Ros Davidson in Ferne, as bailie) in a disposition, dated at Rosmarkie, 28th May 1675, by Donald Mackenzie in Langcoats, with consent of Hector Douglas of Mulderg, in favour of Robert Barbour, dean of guild of Inverness, conveying to him the lands of Mulderg, Balnashirach, and mills of Ferne, the lands of Balconie, Brigend, Kilncroft, and other crofts named, in the parishes of Fearn and Kiltearn and sheriffdom of Ross. Sasine given to Hector Hectorson, multerer of the mills of Ferne, as attorney for grantee, 23rd, and recorded at Fortrose 25th, June 1675. Witnesses, George Stronach, smith in Ferne, William M'Walter, ‘teugter’ there, Alexander Stronach, Donald Sutherland, miller, William Denune, miller, and Walter Sutherland, all in Ferne.
